MEET THE DESIGNERS
Michael Schneider founded Designschneider in Cologne in 1993, and moved to Berlin in 2009. Designschneider is dedicated to product, furniture and exhibition design as well as trend research. The company has an international client base and is committed to designing products that are not only unique and beautiful but can also be used and enjoyed on a daily basis.
Award winning designer Alexander White studied design at Falmouth University and has worked ever since with various artists and designers on a wide range of projects, spanning gallery artworks, outdoor sculptures, interiors and architecture while mainly focusing his creativity on furniture.
Alex has concentrated on creating unique, idea driven pieces whilst offering practical, functional and creative solutions to the project in hand.
Icons philosophy is to emphasize the utilized material uniqueness, through the design originality combined together with the experienced Italian handcraft.
Icons characterises itself for the choice of using different elements, analysing their characteristics and selecting carefully projects which enhance their distinctive traits, transforming them in exclusive creations.
Each product has its own history and follows its own path. Each model becomes a touchstone, a true ICON.

Sam grew up in the North of Scotland. He travelled extensively with his parents in the US but finally settled in London where he trained at Middlesex School of Art and then Kingston University in Furniture Design and Applied Arts.
After finishing his training he began designing bespoke sculptural furniture and had his first show at The Northcote Gallery aged 22.
Donna Bates Design is a County Down based product design studio founded in 2009. Donna specialises in designing and producing limited edition lighting and furniture that looks to appeal to people on a personal level, referencing anything from the dairy to the Dunnock in the hedge. Her designs are enduring and practical, each piece is unique, and most are produced in limited editions.
With over 3000 designs in production, and over 300 awards to his name, Karim Rashid is one of the most prolific designers of his generation. He has produced numerous award-winning designs and worked with high profile clients including Deutsche Bank, Audi, Citibank, Hyundai and Samsung. He has also produced luxury goods for Veuve Clicquot and Swarovski, to name a few. Karim's work is featured in 20 permanent collections and he exhibits art in galleries worldwide. He holds several honorary doctorates and is a frequent guest lecturer at universities and conferences where he stresses the importance of design in everyday life. Karim's pluralism also flirts with writing, DJing, art and fashion.
Ruder Novak-Mikulic & Marija Ruzic
A part of a group of young Croatian designers who started working together while studying design in Zagreb. Their works have been hosted by many exhibitions, and they have received prestigious international awards. They are involved in industrial and graphic design, interior and multimedia design.
Salih is an internationally renowned Bosnian designer with offices in Vienna and Sarajevo. His designs have been successfully produced in numerous European countries. He has exhibited at all significant European fairs and has organized solo exhibitions in Vienna and Sarajevo. He has received local and international awards for his work.
Established in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, both graduated The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture – is known for defying habits and employing a sincere personal vision to their design. The projects Space Copenhagen has turned their hands to include everything from interior design, to furniture and refined objects for everyday use as well as artistic installations and art direction.
A furniture design graduate from National Institute of Design Ahmedabad, the premier design institute in India. Ayush's design studio AKFD is committed to development of ideas using local crafts that have evolved over centuries. His work represents a fusion of unique creativity and uncompromising integrity rare to find in the highly competitive world market.
Massimo Buster Minale
London architect and industrial designer Massimo Buster Minale launched the Buster + Punch label in 2013. Following a career at Foster & Partners, which evolved into creating his design agency Minale + Mann, he has subsequently carved out a reputation with his precision-cut lighting and beautifully crafted hardware. His passion for making extraordinary products truly accessible, is matched only by his interest in motorcycles, metalwork and music.
Born in 1966, Monica Förster is the creator of some of the most internationally renowned objects in contemporary Swedish design today. Her work is characterized by a strong sense of pure form mixed with a never-ending curiosity for new materials and technology. Always trying to work in across-disciplinary way, she invents and renews typologies in industrial, furniture and object design. Monica Förster, who is one of the top names within Swedish design, has created some of the future’s classic designs.
